I know there is a position in the Navy for Nuclear Engineering...and my dad worked as a nuclear engineer for another country's government, lol. He was actually a chemical engineer, which I will be majoring in as well, but he worked as a nuclear engineer because he dealt with atoms and such. You are going to be doing something similar, he worked with a lot of machines that involved heat (which is what a laser weapon would do...throw out a lot of heat).<br><b>References : </b><br> Nuclear Engineering.
