B. A monopoly may have no clear incentive to pursue new research and development. A monopoly is concerned with profit maximization, as any firm is. But a firm with competition (not counting one in an industry with homogeneous products) has an incentive for research and development: to try to get ahead of the competition. A monopolist has no such incentive.

It was a joke. and not all hackers are bad. Hacking applies to more than just hacking a bank account or some crap like that. So loosen up and take a joke. I think its great to help the kids, I just think eating is more important than learning, so i think if they want to give a hundred buck, it should be to the poor kids who are starving.

Et si tu remplaces le mot éducation par propagande et mode de vie (consommation) à l’occidentale pour ne pas dire à l’anglo saxone, tu peux en conclure que c’est une manière douce d’abrutir ces gamins pour leur montrer qui c’est le patron sur cette planète (sous entendu qui impose son mode de vie).

I help out at the YMCA as a volunteer and swim instructor. Likewise, with the Humane Society, though I don’t teach the dogs to doggy-paddle. I bought 4 of these – 2 for “overseas” and 2 for here… then gave my 2nd unit to some kids in Brazil.

We HELP people because we can HELP people – no more explanation is needed.
