To what extent should children have a say over what happens in their families or schools concerning their own development? At what age should children start to have more influence over their parents or teachears? Give reasons for your answers, based on what the theoretical and/or empiral literature says about child development.
This question is highly ambiguous so I have only my beliefs and thoughts to back this up. Children should have the main say in what happens in their education from when they are in 3 grade and up, or at least a part in what happens. No person knows a child better than the child does… that said, only the child can fully articulate his life map and if they can do that – they must be taken seriously in their quest. I believe that we should have some say in what the child does… however we should allow them to take the courses and classes that they see fitting for themselves if the classes help the student fulfill his/her dreams.

I don’t have anything but my own beliefs to back this up, but I think that children should absolutely have more influence over their own development. only a person themself knows what they need and how they work, and if a child can clearly articulate what they need to grow up successfully, they should be taken seriously.
