This is because R and D has still no probable benefits. They are just simply research and development costs. However, it is just appropriate to capatalize the same if the firm has already produced a technical feasibility for it and it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the enterprise.

By definition, asset is recognized in the balance sheet if it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the entity and its cost can be measured reliably.

I’m having a terrible time trying to think of a research paper topic for my human development class. I suggested to my teacher that I discuss child development and three theories, but he said that was too general. We’ve only been in the class for three weeks and haven’t covered much besides how a child’s conceived, child birth, and a few theories dealing with children. This is why I’m having a hard time coming up with a topic.

I would like to talk about teens and/or mental disorders. The thing is I don’t know how I could tie that into human development. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Serious answers only. Thanks.
