Nobody knows, evolution happens over millions of years and over those years, there are very many changes in the gene pool from mutations and different mechanisms which eliminate or spread certian genotypes in a gene pool. Ideally, the average person would posess completely dominant traits such as brown hair, brown/green eyes and etc. Us humans are unlike any species where we avoid natural selection avoiding the extinction of certian genes. Some argue that the human race is becoming increasingly disimilar,yes, in the short run. Pertaining to long term evolution, humans are becoming mnore alike, there are only so many combinations of genes and eventually, all the dominant genes may will take over creating an ideal human.

I hope this was an evolution question, your question was very vague. Humans are highlly advanced species with complex thought and are at the forefront of making great scientific discovery which will help increase living conditions and increase knowledge. Scientific discoveries are being made at an exponential rate meaning that we as a civilization are become more and more advanced and are escaping natural selection, which is ultimately what was responsible for the extinction of species in the past. These discoveries allow humans to enhance living conditions avoiding natural selection and death from natural disasters. Look up Charles Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection and you will understand.

When it comes to writing a story, is it important to have character development?
If so, why is it important to have character development?

What are the pros and cons if my story doesn’t have character development?

character development is crucial to a –good– story.

its important 4 at least 2 reasons.
1–u want ur audience to ‘bond’ with the characters’–2 get 2 know them. to like/love them r dislike/hate them. to care what happens to them.
2–if the character is developed, it makes what he r she thinks/does plausible.

the pros ive listed.

the con is a very superficial read.
really a waste of time.
afterall, i dont know anything about this character really, so other than being a fellow human being, why shud i care what they do r what happens…?

Alright, I know how magic is involved in the development and process of the ghost dance movement, but how is it involved in the origin and suppression? I don’t see where it is involved and it’s something i have to answer. If you know anything about Frazer’s definition of magic that would help out a ton if your answer revolved around his.. thank you!

Magic – in this question – would be as "religion". The appearance of "Jesus" appearing to Wavoka, would be considered "magic" or "great magic" rather than religion. In the beginning of the Ghost Dance Movement, you will notice that both Native American beliefs and the Christian influence were melding together, which formed the Ghost Dance movement. Requiring to believe the Christian beliefs but just changed the wording to include Indians rather than Jews or Christians being the "saved" peoples after the apocalypse.
The origin is where you see the melding of the Christian influenced beliefs with the Native American beliefs, the suppression is where the Government did not believe that it was a "true" belief of Christian doctrine and that the Indians may be using their own beliefs against them trying to over power others by their "Indian Magic".
We have to remember that early American settlers were not familiar with native peoples beliefs and they were so indoctrinated with their own religion that all others were considered evil by their preachers, pastors, and priests. Brainwashing could also be understood, in those days, as a form of magic.

I have write paper on it. Can anyone help me? How did mythology factor into the development of Christianity? What were the sources of this mythology and how Christianity argue against this scholastic thinking?

Mythology is a body of myths and legends concerning gods and goddesses, heroes, the nature of the world, and the significance of cult practices. They were part of a polytheistic religion in Ancient Greece. In a monotheistic religion like Christianity, the claim is that morality itself cannot exist unless it comes from a god (God). This god (God) according to Christianity necessitates and provides moral leadership, instruction, and guidance to humanity. The Greeks did not think in such a way; the gods and goddesses were neither good nor bad..they just ‘were’. The only requirement of these ‘immortals’ was honor, respect and non-judgment by mortals. This latter aspect is similar to that of Christianity, in which humans cannot judge God because He Good. Greek gods were apt to take on human form precipitating the ethic that all people or strangers should be treated well, in the possibility that they would be an ‘immortal’. This is analogous with the Christian belief that strangers should be treated as images of God, but Christians do not believe a random stranger could be Jesus or God. One of the most important similarities between mythological religion and that of Christianity, is that people in Ancient Greece were as devout and sincere in their beliefs as people are today. Religions are actually much more similar than people realize, with certain differences in principles and deity. In sum, Greek Mythology set up a system of venerance to immortal deities (polytheism) along with a specific moral/ethical code. Christianity worships one Deity, and also follows a moral/ethical code specified in the 10 Commandments. Hence the formation of a moral/ethical platform and corressponding Deity (monotheism) known as God.
