Article 27 recognises that every child has the right to a standard of living adequate for physical, mental, spirtual, moral and social development.
It also says that adults have the responsibilty for providing these living conditions, and that when necessary, governments should help families to make sure children have enough food, clothing and housing.

Every child is entitled to a safe and secure living environment that enables their physical, mental, moral and social development. Adults are responsible to ensure the safe living conditions and when they cannot, the government shall provide food, clothing, housing and education.
